Concept development, research, writing, and completion of the 17 kilometre Cycle | Walk | Bridle experience alongside the M2PP Kāpiti Expressway.
The concept for the CWB was fundamentally based around telling the narrative of the Kāpiti coast from a Te Āti Awa perspective while incorporating other aspects of the broader community’s narrative. The intention was to use a number of interpretive devices like the restoration of important local names, whakairo, and colour palettes to create a canvas for a contemporary narrative that reflected the past – rather than retell it.
Included prototyping and development of physical signage in conjunction with Rangi Kipa, Grange Park Creative, Approach Signs, and Te Āti Awa.
